From July 2nd to 6th, Beilun Charity Association held a social practice activity with Peking University Education Foundation,intending to carry out thanksgiving feedback by organizing a visit from assisted students to the Ningbo funder enterprises.The activity was held for the sake of spreading positive energy and giving philanthropy encouragement to the society.

Mascube received the visit as one of the most important funder enterprises in Beilun. During the two days from July 4th to July 5th, we have demonstrated a pioneering and enterprising spirit of New-Ningbo merchants, with an open and confident attitude.

The students from Peking University arrived at Mascube on the morning of July 4th.Their trip included a visit to the E-commerce Park and the headquarters building,during which the idea of combining cultural and creative elements to traditional foreign trade industries shown as an example of Industrial Innovation.

Staffs of Mascube E-commerce Park introduced the basic situations of the park, together with a scan of practitioners’ daily work and a brief introduction of the industrial culture. Moreover, how e-commerce develops rapidly in the Internet Era also refreshed the visitors’ image on foreign trade business.

After then, the students looked around the sample exhibition area in the headquarters building, and appreciated the great variety of commodities. Susan Hu, head of Mascube group, guided the visitors while making an explanation on how Mascube made such improvements by innovating.

On the following day, a public welfare salon was held in Sesame-blossom Cultural Creativity Industry Garden.There, the assisted students met entrepreneurs from all the funder enterprises, and both had a good time exchanging ideas towards culture, charity, and so on.

As the students look round, Jane Mei, president of Mascube, retailed the story of the Garden, attached with a brief introduction about the history of Three-river Port. Books of Ningbo history, backpacks and culture T-shirts were also bestowed on the visitors.

Thermomix multifunctional cooking machine,one of the group’s stellar products, was used to produce steamed stuffed buns freshly.The convenience brought by the high-tech machine also increased the joyful atmosphere.

After learnning more about Mascube, entrepreneurs shared their success stories and life mottos through the salon. Their absorbing stories and sense of humor really impressed all the listeners at the scene.

“If you succeeded in being an upright person, you will not always be in a low ebb.”said president Shen, a banker with good heart.

Ms Chen, Another entrepreneur at the salon, emphasized that being reliable is the most important thing of one’s life. President Mei also showed the importance of trying to gain the initiative, taking her own experience of earning the first barrel of gold as an lively example. The exciting stories were received with hearty rounds of applause.

Encouragements from the graduates were also delivered. Mr Wang, now working as a section chief of Beilun Personnel Organization Department, shared his experience of spending 5 years working in Ningbo. He showed his gladness of seeing all the freshmen and sophomores, and welcomed them to start their own career in Ningbo after graduation.

All the guests enjoyed a buffet dinner consisted of local characteristic food at the break time.

The event was successfully concluded in a warm atmosphere. At the end of the activity, representatives from Peking University delivered their summary statements, thanking all the Ningbo entrepreneurs for their selfless efforts and unreserved sharing. They also hoped the students maintain modest and grateful, strive to become the pillars of society. As the slogan goes, “let’s carry out the ordinary good deeds with gratitude, and make the warmth continue to pass!”
